Terms of Use
Section I: General Provisions
| Article 1 | Purpose | These terms of use serve to define the basic usage terms, conditions, and procedures concerning online services (hereinafter “the Services”) offered by Ildong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “the Company”). |

| Article 3 | Validity of Terms of Use & Revisions |
① These terms of use shall come into effect with their publication on the Services page of Ildong Pharmaceutical’s website. ② The Company reserves the right to amend these terms of use in the presence of a rational cause and to within a scope not in violation of relevant laws and is required to publish the revised terms of use without delay. |
| Article 4 | Matters Beyond the Scope of Terms of Use Herein | Matters not defined herein and the interpretation of the terms of use herein shall be subject to the government’s Electronic Transaction & Consumer Protection Guide, other relevant laws, and accepted commercial practices. |
| Article 5 | Interruptions in Service |
① The Services may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, repair, replacement, or malfunction of IT equipment or due to interruptions in communications services. ② Ildong Pharmaceutical will not indemnify the user or a third-party for losses or damages incurred as the result of a service interruption as per the previous paragraph, unless said interruption is caused by deliberate actions or serious negligence on Ildong Pharmaceutical’s part. |
Section II: Privacy Protection
| Article 9 | Privacy Protection |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical collects the minimum amount of personal information required for submitting inquiries and complaints via its Customer Center. ② This minimum amount of personal information includes: 1. The author’s name 2. Contact information (landline or mobile phone number) 3. Email address ③ The purpose of collecting personal information is for Ildong Pharmaceutical to respond to customer inquiries and complaints in the most efficient manner, maintain a relationship of trust between the Company and its customers, and ensure open communication between the Company and its customers. ④ Ildong Pharmaceutical does not use the personal information provided for any other purpose or offer it to a third party without the consent of the user and will be held solely liable for failure to do so. However, Ildong Pharmaceutical will not be held liable if the user has violated the Company’s terms of use, inflicted damage to a third party, or otherwise committed a wrongful act warranting a legal response or if the personal information has been used or disclosed at the request of a relevant government agency. ⑤ Ildong Pharmaceutical and third parties in authorized possession of the personal information of the Company’s customers are required to destroy, in the presence of a personal information manager, said personal information within three (3) months of the objectives of the information collection or the commissioning being met, except under the following circumstances: 1. The information needs to be preserved in accordance with the law; 2. The user has been previously informed of the duration of storage as per Paragraph ①; or 3. Consent of the individual user has been acquired. |

Section III: Responsibilities of Service Provider and User
| Article 10 | Responsibilities of the Company |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical shall not engage in any behavior prohibited by the terms of use herein or in violation of public order and standards of decency and must attempt in full earnest to ensure stable and uninterrupted provision of the Services as defined in the terms of use herein. ② Ildong Pharmaceutical is to implement a security system to protect the user’s personal information and facilitate safe access and use of the Services by the user. |

| Article 11 | Responsibilities of the User |
① The user is prohibited from taking any of the following actions: 1. Submit falsified information; 2. Revise notices posted on the Company’s website; 3. Transmit or post unauthorized information or materials (including software); 4. Violate the intellectual property rights of Ildong Pharmaceutical or a third party; 5. Defame the character or reputation of or interfere with the business affairs of Ildong Pharmaceutical or a third party; 6. Make public or post on Ildong Pharmaceutical’s website messages, images, audio clips, or any other type of information deemed obscene or violent in nature or considered contrary to public order and standards of decency; 7. Copy, revise, publish, or share with a third party information acquired from the Services without the prior approval of the Company; 8. Spread information with the intent to distort the fact or engage in any behavior deemed inappropriate by the Company; or 9. Engage in any behavior that violates the law. ② The user is required to comply with all relevant laws, the terms of use herein, and the Service rules and warnings. ③ The user is also required to abide by the limitations of Service use published or announced by the Company. ④ The user may not use the Services for commercial purposes without the prior approval of the Company and shall exempt the Company from all consequences resulting from the user’s involvement in illegal commercial activities or any other commercial activity in violation of the terms of use herein. ⑤ The user may not transfer, donate, or offer as collateral to a third party the user’s rights to use the Services or any status granted to the user as per a relevant usage agreement without the explicit consent of the Company. ⑥ The user is prohibited from collecting, storing, or disclosing another user’s personal information without consent. ⑦ The user may not use information of others gained through the user of the Services to transmit mass spam mails to unspecified numbers of recipients or disrupt the other users’ access to or use of the Services. ⑧ Ildong Pharmaceutical reserves the right to restrict publication of posts that are in violation of relevant laws or the terms of use herein. |
Section IV: Miscellaneous
| Article 12 | Relationship between Origin Website and Destination Website |
① If one website is linked to another website via a hyperlink, which may be in the form of a text, an image, a video file, or any other common format, the former is referred to as the origin website and the latter as the destination website. ② Here, the origin website does not offer guarantees or will be held responsible for any independent goods or services transaction between the destination website and the user. |

| Article 13 | Copyrights & Limitations of Use |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical reserves copyrights and all other intellectual property rights pertaining to posts published by Ildong Pharmaceutical. ② The user is prohibited from copying, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, using, or providing to a third party information gained through the use of the Ildong Pharmaceutical website for personal gain. |
| Article 14 | Settlement of Disputes |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical operates a customer support team to receive justified suggestions and complaints from users and make compensation for losses and damages incurred. ② Justified suggestions and complaints from users is a priority for Ildong Pharmaceutical. If the Company is unable to respond or process a user suggestion or complaint in a timely manner, however, the Company shall immediately inform the user of the cause and the expected processing date. ③ Disputes between Ildong Pharmaceutical and its users may be subjected to mediation by the E-Commerce Mediation Committee (established as per Article 28 of the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce and Article 15 of the enforcement ordinance of the same act). Disputes that are not ecommerce in nature may be subject to relevant laws and regulations enacted by the government and accepted commercial practices. |
| Article 15 | Indemnification |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical shall indemnify users for incurred losses and damages at which Ildong Pharmaceutical is at fault, to the extent of there exiting a significant relationship of cause and effect. Free services offered by Ildong Pharmaceutical, however, are not subject to indemnification for losses and damages. ② Claims for indemnification for losses and damages must be submitted to Ildong Pharmaceutical via phone or in writing along with descriptions of the grounds for the claim, the amount claimed, and the basis for the claim amount within three (3) months of the cause of the claim arising. |
| Article 16 | Exemptions |
Ildong Pharmaceutical shall be exempted from losses and damages incurred by the user under the following circumstances: ① Unable to provide the Services due to a natural disaster or any other force majeure event; ② Having previously informed the user of disruption in the Services due to a system upgrade, a system expansion, or any other planned work aimed at improving the efficiency of the Services; ③ Third-party disclosure of the user’s personal information due to the user’s negligence; ④ Errors resulting from the user’s unfamiliarity with the use of computers or Ildong Pharmaceutical’s website; or ⑤ The user has realized personal gains from the information or materials acquired through the Services or expects to realize personal gains through the use of the Services. |
| Article 17 | Communiques, Notices, and Assumption of Receipt |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical reserves the right to deliver information and notices it deems important to the post’s author to the email address or any other contact point included in the member’s profile. ② Information and notices sent via email as per Paragraph ① shall be assumed to have been delivered and received after three (3) days of sending. If the actual delivery date is less than three (3) days from sending, however, that date shall be considered as the delivery and receipt date. |
| Article 18 | Rights & Responsibilities Concerning Posts |
① Copyrights over all posts published on Ildong Pharmaceutical’s website shall be reserved to Ildong Pharmaceutical, unless explicitly agreed otherwise in advance by Ildong Pharmaceutical and the author. ② Ildong Pharmaceutical is responsible for the protection of the posts and prohibits the unauthorized use or citation of the posts on other websites by other individuals. |
| Article 19 | User Posts |
① Ildong Pharmaceutical shall not be held responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or the content of information the user transmits as posts, notices, emails, etc. through the Services. The user shall be held solely responsible all civil and criminal consequences resulting from posts published by the user. ② Ildong Pharmaceutical reserves the right to remove, without notice, following types of posts published or registered by the user within the Services: 1. Posts that are slanderous or defamatory in nature or invade the privacy of another user or individual; 2. Posts that interfere with the stable operation of the Services or are deemed contrary to public order and standards of decency; 3. Posts that are deemed to be associated with a criminal activity; 4. Posts that infringe upon the intellectual property rights or other rights of Ildong Pharmaceutical or a third party; 5. Posts that are inappropriate to the nature of the forum on which they were posted; 6. Posts serving personal gains or a commercial objective; or 7. Posts that are deemed to be in violation of other laws or regulations. |
| Article 20 | Jurisdiction & Governing Law |
① All litigations concerning disputes between Ildong Pharmaceutical and the user shall fall under the jurisdiction of Seoul Central District Court. ② All ecommerce litigations between Ildong Pharmaceutical and the user are subject to the laws of the Republic of Korea. |
