Ildong Pharmaceutical Signs Exclusive Distribution and Promotion Agreement with Viatris Korea in Urology Segment

Exclusive Domestic Distribution and Sales of 4 Urological Treatments Including 'Viagra®'

Ildong Pharmaceutical (Co-CEOs: Paul Woongsup Yun and Chae Joon Lee) has signed an exclusive distribution and promotion agreement with Viatris Korea — the Korean subsidiary of global healthcare company Viatris — for urological treatments, strengthening marketing cooperation between the two companies.

Under the agreement, Ildong Pharmaceutical will exclusively distribute and sell the following four Viatris Korea products in the domestic market starting April 1st: ▲Viagra® tablets ▲Viagra® L Oral Dissolving Film (domestic license holder: Seoul Pharmaceutical) ▲Cardura XL® extended-release tablets ▲Detrusitol® SR capsules.

Viagra® tablets (active ingredient: sildenafil citrate), a treatment for erectile dysfunction, has established its position as an original brand through extensive clinical research and data supporting its efficacy and safety.

Viagra® L Oral Dissolving Film is a film-type formulation that dissolves in the mouth, enhancing ease of administration.

Cardura XL® extended-release tablets (active ingredient: doxazosin mesylate) is a treatment for urinary obstruction and voiding dysfunction caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia, and is an extended-release formulation with an improved pharmacokinetic profile through patented 'GITS (Gastro Intestinal Therapeutic System)' technology.

Detrusitol® SR capsules (active ingredient: tolterodine L-tartrate) is a treatment for overactive bladder with symptoms such as urgency, frequency, or urge incontinence, featuring a dual-capsule structure designed to ensure sustained drug release.

Ildong Pharmaceutical plans to effectively provide academic and pharmaceutical information related to the partnered products to the market through its collaboration with Viatris Korea, and to pursue market penetration based on the company's marketing capabilities and network in the urological therapeutics field.
