Ildong Pharmaceutical’s ‘Aronamin’ Ranks No. 1 in Korea Brand Power for 11 Consecutive Years

Evaluation of Brand Awareness and Loyalty Through One-on-One Consumer Surveys

Ildong Pharmaceutical (CEO Yun Woongsup) announced that its active vitamin supplement, Aronamin, has ranked No. 1 in the multivitamin category of the 2024 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) for 11 consecutive years.

Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI) is a system developed by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) to annually select and certify brands that represent consumer life in Korea through surveys and evaluations.

The survey was conducted between October 2023 and January 2024, targeting 12,500 consumers aged 15 to 59 residing in Seoul and six major metropolitan cities. It was carried out through one-on-one individual interviews.

As a result, Aronamin ranked first in all detailed indicators of brand awareness, which measures the degree to which a particular brand is recognized or recalled within a category, including: Initial Recognition, Unaided Recognition, Aided Recognition

In terms of brand loyalty, which reflects consumers’ affection or attachment to a specific brand, Aronamin received high scores in detailed evaluations, including: Brand Image, Purchase Likelihood, Preference

Ildong Pharmaceutical stated that these results were achieved through consistent efforts to promote the unique properties and effects of the active vitamins contained in Aronamin. The company also implemented marketing strategies that reflect consumer needs and market trends while continuously expanding and segmenting its brand.

Aronamin products are designed with different ingredients, dosages, purposes, and concepts, and include the following series:

Aronamin Gold / Aronamin Gold Premium / Aronamin C Plus / Aronamin Silver Premium / 

Aronamin Silver Active / Aronamin E-Max Plus/ Aronamin Eye Plus

This year, Ildong Pharmaceutical plans to expand its marketing efforts with a new Aronamin advertising campaign, “Let’s Eliminate Fatigue!”, featuring the popular actor Son Suk-ku, who has received positive responses for his remarkable performances in various works.
