Ildong Pharmaceutical (CEO Yun Woongsup) announced on the 18th November that its Biovita, gQlab, and Minimal Recipes have been awarded as 'Good Design (GD) Products'.
'Selection of Good Design Products' is a system that is hosted and supervised by the Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy and the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, to select products and services with excellent design, and to give GD (Good Design) mark, which is certified by the government.
Biovita, the first Korea's lactic acid digestive for the whole family’s gut health introduced in 1959, has been renewed in 2020 by reinforcing strains and ingredients while saving the identity and features of existing Biovita.
Ildong Pharmaceutical explained that it focused on not only continuing the brand assets of Biovita, which has a long history and reputation, but also establishing the identity of the newly-made Biovita, and expressing product attributes with good raw materials and functions.
In particular, while applying the symbolic colors of Biovita, the light green and green, on the package colors, the letters B and O in the English name of Biovita are applied to form a smiling face and designed to be reminiscent of product names in pronunciation.
gQlab is a probiotics brand created based on Ildong Pharmaceutical's lactic acid bacteria technology, and the products selected for Good Design are 4 types of gQlab series for general distribution.
While maintaining the unity of the gQlab's brand system, the 4 gQlab series are designed to facilitate information delivery to consumers by properly arranging colors, emblems, pictograms, and texts according to the functions and ingredients of each sub-product.
Minimal Recipes Feminine Wipes is a functional tissue containing hyaluronic acid and dexpantheol. It is easy to carry and use by adopting a one-pack individual packaging and has a weak acidity which helps women have suitable PH(Percentage of Hydrogen) balance.
